Mrs. Hall Dead

Friends of H. C. Hall who formerly lived in Jackson township, will be pained to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Hall of apoplexy. She was sitting in a chair in her house in Mesa County, Colorado, and died without a moment’s warning.

Mr. Hall has met with financial reverses since leaving here and has taken the four children back to Nauvoo, Ill. He lost all his property in the Colorado venture.

Transcriber’s note: Maiden name taken from 1888 Lee County, Iowa Marriage Record that shows the husband’s surname to be “Hohl”. The latter is supported by several early census records as well as his father’s gravestone. Other data indicates that the death took place in December, 1895.
