Death of Marion Cassiday

Marion Cassiday, a man well known in this city and county, died at the residence of A. J. Kendig, of dropsy, Tuesday morning.

He had been suffering for several years with a complication of diseases and hid death resulted only after a stubborn contest with the dread disease.

The deceased was a man identified with the early history of the city and was postmaster for several years.

The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon.
