Items From Crawford Township

The death of Mrs. Thomas Leman, of Bevington, which occurred last Thursday morning after a few days sickness is a source of grief to her many friends and neighbors.

She left behind six children to mourn her loss.

Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published. There is no record of a "Leman" ever living Madison County but Ellen Linnane (wife of Thomas) lived in Crawford Township and died there in 1889, leaving six children. Her maiden name is taken from her 1877 Madison County Marriage Record.
