Caryl Ann Harper, 74, of Patterson passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1946, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of Daryl Lee Sr. “Tuffy” and Anna Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Vandiver. They preceded her in death.
On Dec. 29, 1964, she married Charles “Charlie” Harper in Bethany, Mo.
Caryl worked for many years as a dietician and then as a homemaker, caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie, of the home; children, Kurt Harper (Kim Brown) of Des Moines and Kathy Dingman (Doug Jurgens) of Winterset; step son, Charles Clyde (Helen) Harper; grandchildren, Brian (Alisa) Drake and Lonni Drake; great-grandchildren, Isaac Harper and Wyatt Drake; brothers, Ronnie (Alice Faye) Vandiver of Maryville, Mo., and Daryl Lee Vandiver of Bethany, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, at Miriam Cemetery in Bethany, Mo., under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany, Mo. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Roberson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Miriam Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
