Debra J. Stanford

Debra J. Stanford was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on February 28, 1958, the daughter of Marion and Joyce Stanford. She passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021.

She was a devoted aunt who treasured time spent with her many nieces and nephews. Her love for them was evident in all she did. Debra also enjoyed crocheting, Sci-Fi, reading, and solving crossword puzzles.

Debra is survived by her sister, Cindy (Brian) Stanford; brother, Kevin Stanford; niece, Emily Stanford; nephews, Brandon (Kayla) Stanford and Steven Stanford, along with other loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Urn burial will follow the service at Winterset Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
