Winterset, IowaBecky Williams, 74, of Winterset, died Friday, April 23, 2021 at her home.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home Winterset Chapel. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Rebecca Jo Eastman was born November 9, 1946, in Humboldt, Iowa, the daughter of Homer and Vivian (Morse) Eastman. She was raised on a farm near Pioneer, Iowa and was married on May 26, 1967 to Richard Williams.
She had lived in Humboldt, Martensdale, Yale, and for 40 years in Winterset. Becky was graduate of the Methodist School of Nursing and had been a Registered Nurse, taught at DMACC for 40 years, worked at the ISU Extension Offices in Madison and Warren Counties, and was a nursing consultant for Mainstream Living (group homes located throughout central Iowa).
Becky enjoyed camping, traveling and loved butterflies. She also loved her pets and treated them as family.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Williams of Winterset; sons, Michael Lee (Natalie Tobin) Williams of Des Moines and Ryan Lee (Wendy) Williams of Atlantic; brothers, Dennis (Rita) Eastman of Packwood, Brian (Deanna) Eastman of Onawa, and Bruce (Denise) Eastman of Humboldt; sister, Barb Smith of Winterset; grandson, Hunter Lee Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Homer and Vivian (Morse) Eastman.
