E. N. VanHosen was called upon to bear suffering in a double measure this week. Tuesday he and his family started for St. Charles to bury their little child, which had died on Monday. After they had left the little one in the cemetery, Mr. VanHosen went to the house of his sister in St. Charles, the wife of Dr. Roberts. He was called to her bedside and a few moments after, she too, passed away in death. Mr. VanHosen surely will have the sympathy of our people everywhere in the double loss that has thus came upon him and his family.
