Memorial services for James Bevins, 44, of 1108 E. Seneca Ave. will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Open Bible Church. The body will be donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences.

Mr. Bevins died of a heart ailment Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Born in Winterset, he lived in Des Moines most of his life and was a cab driver.

Survivors include a son, Keith of Des Moines, and a sister, Judy Sharp of Washburn.

Dahlstrom Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
