Page 5A, Column 2Arnett Douglas “Doug” Davis, Jr., 79, of Arnold, Md., died Monday, March 2, 2015, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, March 6, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church (620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis). Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association (211 East Lombard St. #260, Baltimore MD 21202).
Doug was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on June 23, 1935. He and his wife Rita were married Dec. 31, 1966.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Buehler.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Bindel Davis; sons, Sean Davis of Annapolis, Md., and Michael Davis of Plattsmouth, Neb.; daughters, LeAnn Davis of Tama, Iowa, Deanna Humphreys of Dallas, Texas, and Laura Copp of Lawrence, Kan.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
