Tuesday Services for Mrs. King, 88

Services for Mrs. Alice King, 88, 0f 692 Seventeenth St., will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church, with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Irish Settlement, Madison County.

Mrs. King died at the Mingus Nursing Home Friday of arteriosclerosis after one-week illness. She was born in Cumming and lived in Des Moines 20 years. She was a member of St. John’s Rosary Society.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Rose Dazell of Lemmon, S.D., and a brother, George Carroll of Des Moines. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
