Madeline (Brooker) Bennett died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020. She was born in 1920 in Jefferson Township, Madison County, to Nelson and Blanche (Addy) Brooker. She married John Porter and had three children: Marlys, Nelson (Bates), and Martin.

After John died, she married Alden Bennett.

Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, 11 siblings, both husbands, and three children. She was loved and she will be missed.

There will be no service. She will rest by her husband, Al, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines.
