Lena, 93, passed on December 21, 2011 at Taylor House in Des Moines. She was born June 27, 1918 in Taylor County, Iowa, the daughter of Jacob and Cora Jackson.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Alice (Wes) Thompson of Adel; grandchildren: Kurtis (Deb) Thompson and Kristine (Steve) Christenson; and her great-grandchildren: Bethany and Leigha Christenson.
