Services for Enoch M. Maine, 80, of 3807 Fifth Ave., will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Arnold’s Highland Park Funeral Home, with burial in St. Charles Cemetery at St. Charles.

Mr. Maine died Tuesday at his home of a heart ailment.

A native of Wick, he lived in St. Charles before moving to Des Moines 47 years ago. He was a retired custodian and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Faye; a daughter, Mrs. Delores Grant of Bristol, England; four sons, George of Melvindale, Mich., Charles of Chatworth, Calif., Wendell of Des Moines and Roland of South St. Paul, Minn.; a brother, Hugh of St. Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Nuzim and Mrs. Ruth Wheeler, both of Des Moines; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
