Mrs. Frank Marvin died at her home northwest of town early Monday morning from a stroke of paralysis. About four weeks ago she suffered a stroke and was improving slowly when the summons came.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin moved to this vicinity from Davenport some eight years ago and he operated a fruit farm formerly owned by Mr. Horte with considerable degree of success.
No funeral arrangements had been reported at the date of this writing.

J. R. Miller, Sr., was called to St. Charles by the death of his niece, Mrs. May Marvin. She was brought here to bury her at Morrisburg cemetery.
