Robert V. Coryell, an old citizen of Winterset, died at the home of his son-in-law A. A. Fleck, in Newton Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Coryell moved from Winterset to California a good many years ago. He has been in feeble health for many years and has not been in active work since he retired from the farm now owned by Thomas Doak.
Mrs. Alvin Shriver, of Los Angeles, his daughter, and her husband arrived at Newton two hours before his death. Mr. Coryell is survived by his wife, William Coryell, and his daughter, Mrs. Shriver and Mrs. Fleck all former residents of Winterset.
