Funeral Monday For Poffinbarger

Services for Hugh D. Poffinbarger, 43, of 2533 Morton Ave., will be at 3 p. m. Monday at the Hamilton funeral home, with burial in Glendale cemetery. Mr. Poffinbarger died of a liver ailment Thursday at Wilden Osteopathic hospital following a long illness.

Born at Winterset, Mr. Poffinbarger had been a resident of Des Moines 33 years. He was a trucker for Knaus Truck Lines, Inc., and a member of the Over-the-Road Truck Drivers Union 147.

Surviving are his widow, Evelyn; his mother, Mrs. Sadie Poffinbarger of Leavenworth, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Taylor and Mrs. Vivien Eldred, both of Leavenworth, and two brothers, John of De Queen, Ark., and Paul of Madison, Wis.
