Services Friday For Gladys Vert

Services for Mrs. Gladys Vert, 65, of 815 Third St., will be at noon Friday in Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Vert died of a stroke Tuesday at Broadlawns General Hospital after a six-month illness.

A native of Coldwater, Kan., Mrs. Vert had lived in Des Moines 10 years. She previously had lived in Afton and Winterset. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Lorimor.

Surviving are a son, Durward Vert, Des Moines; a stepson, Marshall Vert, Lorimor; a brother, Glen Underwood, San Pedro, Cal.; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Fett, Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. Edna Gifford and Mrs. Ethel Saydell, Waterloo; and four grandchildren.
