F. Price Farson, 83, of NBA-Ramsey Home died of pneumonia Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Wesley United Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Farson was born in Truro and had lived in the Des Moines area all his life. He was a retired director for Social Security-Disability Determination Unit for the state of Iowa and was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara G.; a son, Craig of Berthoud, Colo.; three sisters, Jeanne Blackledge of Monroe, Ruie Bradley of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Ann Merrill of Lakewood, Calif.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church. Hamilton's Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
