Mrs. Margaret Woodward, of Salinas, California, passed away there on Sunday, June 20, at the age of 88 years. She was a former resident of Waukee and moved to California in 1944. Her husband passed away in 1937.
Her body will be returned to Des Moines to the Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday evening and services will be at the Sacred Heart Church, in West Des Moines, at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
She has two daughters: Mrs. Ray Danilson, of West Des Moines and Mrs. William Koontz of Salinas. Also two sisters, Mrs. Ray Rippey, of Salinas and Mrs. Arthur Boston, of Waukee and one brother Mike Pray of West Des Moines.
Transcriber’s note: Burial was made in the St. Patrick’s cemetery, rural Madison county, Iowa.
