The fourteen year old son of Wm. Bowlsby, while hunting a few days ago in Madison county, accidentally shot himself with a revolver, and died next day from the effect of the wound.

Forty Years Ago (March 8, 1882)

On Thursday, a 14 year old son of Wm. Bowlsby of Madison township, while out rabbit hunting, accidentally shot himself with a revolver, the bullet entering under the chin and lodging in the head. He died on Friday morning at 9 o’clock.
