Grace Dumas Fundinger, daughter of Jim and Nancy Baker Lowe, was born on December 30, 1883, in Mississippi. She was called to her eternal home on November 25th at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 25 days after an extended illness. Her death occurred in Mercy Hospital, Davenport, Iowa, where she had been a patient several days.

She had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Van Meter, for many years.

On September 2, 1933, she married William Fundinger, who preceded her in death on March 20, 1958.

After the death of her husband she resided with her daughter Georgia in Blue Grass, Iowa, until she entered the Hilltop Nursing Center in Davenport in 1972.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Georgia McClurg of Blue Grass, Iowa; a son, James Dumas of San Jose, California; a step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Keesey of Van Meter; a stepson, Ralph Fundinger of Grand Junction, Colorado; three sisters, Miss Bess Lowe of Warren, Arkansas, Mrs. Luniel Parker of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Mrs. Iris Rose of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four brothers, James Earl and Ernest Lowe of Oklahoma City, and Zeb Lowe of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
