ALBANY – Hester L. Marsh, 96, died Wednesday in Albany.

She was born and educated in Dexter, Iowa, and moved to the Riverside area of Albany in 1939.

She married Charles A. Marsh on Jan. 1, 1918, in Dexter, Iowa. He died on Sept 22, 1965.

A homemaker, she also worked at Lovelace Floral Co. for several years.

She attended First Baptist Church in Albany and was a member of Riverside Garden Club and Riverside Women's Club. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Survivors include her brother, Bruce Lenocker of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters, Sue Null and Mildred Wilson of Winterset, Iowa, and Martha Hull of Plymouth, Neb.; son, Charles Marsh Jr. of Fairfax, Calif.; daughters, Helen Maher and Mickey Kenagy, both of Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at AAsum mortuary, Albany. Interment will be in Twin Oaks Mausoleum, Albany.
