Helen Gee

Helen R. Gee, 70, of 901 S. Milner died at 7:06 a.m. today, April 10, 1984, in Ottumwa Hospital.

She was born May 27, 1913, at Winterset to Elmo and Sadie Fields Silverthorn. She married Ernest F. Gee on July 1, 1931, at Winterset.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Michael E. and Chester C. of Ottumwa; a daughter, Shirley J. Mitchell of Ottumwa; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jean Ritter of Afton.

The services is pending at Johnson Funeral Chapel.

Visitation will be after noon Wednesday.

Helen Gee

The service for Helen R. Gee, 70, of 901 S. Milner, who died April 10, 1984, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Donald Baker of Bethel United Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Gee, Vernon Wilson, Bill Smithart, Andy Miller, Dale Howe and Pete Barnhill.

The casket will be closed as the service begins.
