Services for Guy V. Purscell, 63, of 330 N.W. Fifty-fourth Ave. will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Arnold's Highland Park Funeral Home, with burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Purscell died of cancer Monday at Des Moines General Hospital after an illness of three years.
A retired dishwasher, Mr. Purscell was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines 18 years.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl; a son, Guy, jr., at home, and three brothers, Joe of Daytona Beach, Fla., Louis of Colfax and Lawrence of Sacramento, Calif.
