Services for Golden L. Glynn, 72, of 513 Twelfth St. in West Des Moines, who died at Mercy Hospital Friday of a heart attack, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
Born in Cumming. Mr. Glynn was a lifelong resident of the West Des Moines area. He was employed with Lewis Security Systems as a guard and was a longtime employe of Des Moines Concrete Products. Mr. Glynn was a member of the Dowling Club and the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene; a son, Donald of Atlantic; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia M. Farrell of Ellsworth, Wis., Mrs. Joann Kammermeier and Mrs. Donna Givant, both of West Des Moines, three brothers, Francis of West Moines, Walter of West Des Moines and Fred of Clive; three sisters, Mrs. Loretta Blaine of Des Moines, Mrs. Dorothy Owens of West Des Moines and Mrs. Genevieve Zenor of Mason City, and 14 grandchildren.
Rosaries will be recited at 7 and 8 p.m. Sunday at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines.
________________________The deceased's birth was registered in Madison County as born in Lee Township in 1902 and he was in Madison County censuses through 1920.
