Glynn, 94, Dies; Retired farmer

Frank Glynn, 94, of 721 Sixteenth st., died Saturday at Mercy Hospital.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Glynn was a retired farmer. He was born in Cumming and lived in Des Moines 44 years. He is a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

He is survived by four sons, Golden and Walter of West Des Moines, Francis of Des Moines and Frederick of Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. Loretta Peterson of Des Moines, Mrs. Dorothy Owens of West Des Moines, and Mrs. Genevieve Zenor of Mason City; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. Monday at the Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.

Coordinator's note: Per the 1885 Iowa State Census, the deceased was born in Madison County and he is found in Lee Township, Madison County censuses continuously from 1880 through 1920.
