Patricia Ann Nehring

Patricia Ann Nehring, daughter of William "Bill" Tobin and Evelyn Euella (Kuster) Tobin was born September 25, 1933 in Anita, Iowa and passed from this life Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Westbridge Care & Rehabilitation in Winterset, Iowa at 85 years of age.

Patricia received her education in St. Mary's and graduated from St. Marys High School graduating in 1951. She was united in marriage to Carl Christopher Nehring on November 28, 1959 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Patricia worked in claims administration for Farmers Insurance for 42 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Mary's, Iowa.
She enjoyed going to auctions, collecting glassware, toys and established the family farm alongside her husband Carl.

Those relatives who preceded Pat in death were parents, Bill and Evelyn; her husband, Carl; son-in-law, William Gilgour; her in-laws, Ludwig and Rose Nehring; brother, Jack Tobin, sister, Darlene Graham, brothers-in-law Dean Graham, Gale Palmer, Troy Woods and Richard Nehring; sisters-in-law, Edith Nehring and Isabel Nehring; nephews, Larry Nehring, John Slaton and Don Brownlee and niece, Sandy Slaton.

Pat leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Chris (Cindy) Nehring of St. Charles, IA, Stephen Nehring of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Dixie Palmer-Wood of Weatherford, OK, nephews, Mike (Nancy) Graham, Richard (Robin) Palmer, Jason (Amy) Palmer, Terry (Monica) Tobin, Sean (Tammy) Tobin, Mike (Betty) Nehring; nieces, Anita Graham-Workman, Cheryl Brownlee, Jennifer (Rick) Payne; and special friends, Steve (Trish) Barger and Denise Gordon, as well as other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Final resting place: St. Charles Cemetery, St. Charles, IA.
