Services for Robert M. McLaughlin, 57, of 936 Thornton ave., who died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital, will be at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery near Cumming.
Mr. McLaughlin a contract carrier for The Register and Tribune had been ill nine months. Born in Madison County, he moved here 27 years ago from Booneville. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and the Dowling Club.
The rosary will be said at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
Surviving are his widow, Marie; three sons, Robert F. of Mason City, Joseph M. of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Patrick W. of Des Moines; two sisters, Mary and Frances McLaughlin of Booneville, and nine grandchildren.
