Services for Lester LeFleur, 54, DeSoto, who died Thursday, Oct. 6, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, were held Saturday, Oct. 8, at the DeSoto United Methodist Church. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery near DeSoto.

Mr. LeFleur, a self-employed trucker, was born in Panora on Aug. 15, 1934, the son of Lewis and Frances LeFleur. He was married to Jo Anne Ostrander in Van Meter on March 21, 1954.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Gail Hamilton of Tulare, Calif., Debbie Culp of Des Moines and Susan Merical of DeSoto; a son Roger of DeSoto; his mother, Frances Fox of Des Moines; brothers, Bill of Des Moines, Joe of Redfield and Dallas of Jefferson; sisters, Marie Deblicq of Los Angeles, Calif., Mary Vaughn of Johnston, and Charlotte Prewitt and Barbara Henrich, both of Des Moines; and nine grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his father and two brothers.
