Urbandale – Donna F. Weeter, 84, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery at a later date.

Donna was born September 16, 1934 in Grand River, IA to Lawrence and Ethyl Johannessen. She lived in Des Moines and worked at Delavan Manufacturing in West Des Moines most of her adult life. Donna loved fishing, her dogs, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Bob (Brenda) Weeter, step-children, Karen (Gerard) Matysik and Debbie James; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Dacia (Joe), Kara, Nathan (Bradie), Thomas, Lauren, Angie, and Sonia (Josh); and many great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
