Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel of Memories Mortuary for William Ernest Weeks of 1912 E. Lake Blvd., who died Saturday in a local hospital.
The Rev. Glenn McPherson will officiate and burial will be in Kansas City, Kan., with arrangements there under the direction of Fulton & Nickel Funeral Home.
Mr. Weeks was born in Madison County, Iowa on March 11, 1897 and came to Colorado Springs from Kansas City. He was married in Castle rock on May 23, 1967.
A retired construction worker, Mr. Weeks served with the Navy during World War I and belonged to American Legion Post 39 of Manitou Springs, the Second Horizon Club and the Golden Age Club.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Reba Weeks, a son, William Weeks of Fort Worth, Tex.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Peggy Anderson of Colorado Springs; a brother, Glen Weeks of Kooskia, Idaho; an aunt, Blanche Powers of Larimor, Idaho; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren of Colorado Springs.
