SPACKMAN—Garnett Irene Spackman, 85, Fullerton, died Wednesday at Genoa Hospital.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Fullerton Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Lisle Mewmaw officiating, and burial will be in Fullerton Cemetery. The body is to lie in state after 4 p.m. today at Fullerton Memorial Chapel, with Ramaekers Funeral Home of Genoa in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of James F. and Lyda Jane Weeks, she was born Jan. 24, 1889, at Winterset, Iowa and educated in Iowa.

On Dec. 27, 1916, she was married to Dr. E.P. Spackman and had resided in Fullerton since that time. Mrs. Spackman was a member of Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Lloyd of Genoa and Everett of Laramie, Wyo.; two daughters, Helen Shockey of San Diego and Ruth Hattan of Aurora; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Reynolds of Hastings and Mrs. Etta Cunningham of Friend.

Mrs. Spackman was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Ralph, two brothers and three sisters.

The family suggests that memorials be made to benefit the blind.
