Cora Mae Fett, daughter of Henry and Emma Vogel Fett, was born October 8, 1895 on a farm south of Dexter and passed away July 29, 1992 at Adel Acres Care Center, having been a resident there since June 10, 1976.

Cora grew up around Dexter and attended Dexter School. On March 11, 1914 she married Lewis Hill at her parents’ home. They lived on a farm south of Dexter until 1925 when they moved to the edge of town.

Cora was a homemaker and assisted Lew with running the Texaco Station. She was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Ladies Aid.

Preceding her in death were her husband Lewis; her daughter Marjorie; her parents; her sister Irene and a grandson Willis.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Smith of Earlham; son-in-law Clyde McMullin of Redfield; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Dexter Cemetery.
