Theodore Schnellbacker, 85, passed away last Thursday. Services were held in Meade, Saturday at the Catholic Church and interment was made in Graceland Cemetery.

For the past several years he had made his home with his niece Rhoda Schnellbacker about four and a half miles north of Meade. He had been ailing for several months.

He was born August 7, 1855 in Ohio. His brother passed away several months ago.

Transcriber's note: Transcribed as published, other gravestones in Graceland Cemetery show the surname to be "Schnellbacher". The family lived in Madison County from 1856 until after 1870 per census records.
