Bonnie was born on August 13, 1932 to Peter and Beata (Barney) Conley in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up in Valentine and Omaha, Nebraska, where she attended and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. On August 1, 1953, she was united in marriage to Eugene Glynn at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Omaha. To this union they were blessed with six children. Their first home was in rural Cass County on Gene’s family farm. They raised their children in Moorland, then relocated to Wisconsin and West Virginia, before settling in Earlham.

Bonnie was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Moorland and St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee. She had a servant’s heart and spent many hours volunteering at the hospital and for other organizations. She provided foster care, while raising her own children. Her ultimate gift was being there for her husband and children and attending the many school activities her children and grandchildren were involved in.

Her interests included reading, crocheting, making blankets, bowling and golfing. After moving to Earlham, she worked at Apple Tree Day Care, where she loved to snuggle and care for the little babies. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. Bonnie loved to get her family together and always offered a drink and candy to anyone who visited.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Beata, husband, Gene, brother, Barney, and daughter-in-law, Teresa.

Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Patrick Glynn of Chandler, AZ, Ronald (Claudine) Glynn of Boone, IA, Becky (Steve) Osborn of Arvada, CO, Terry (Sally) Glynn of Gold Canyon, AZ, Nancy (Eric) Moorman of Pella, IA, and Diane (Jason) McGriff of Tiffin, IA; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister-in-law, Elaine Conley of Omaha; Rosalie Halligan of O’Fallon, MO, the longtime sister she never had, and a host of extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
