MT. VERNON – Funeral services for Thomas B. Stark, 77, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. George Larson officiating.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Milliken Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon cemetery.
Mr. Stark was born June 8, 1896 at Winterset, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stark and died July 22 at a Mitchell hospital. On Dec. 10, 1924 he married Ida Dale at Sioux Falls. After retiring from farming he served 11 years on the state highway commission.
Survivors included his widow; three sons, Doyle, Minneapolis; Roger, Lynwood, Calif., and Garey, Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Elta Deden, Winterset; and Mrs. Leta Larson, Luguna Hills, Calif., and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
