John Allery Was Committed to Institution Monday—Wife Also Insane.
John Allery died last night at the insane hospital at Clarinda where he had been committed Tuesday after being arrested on East Second and Crocker streets by the police for terrorizing women by threatening them with a club. Allery attempted suicide in the city Jail and his ravings grew worse.
His wife went insane when her husband was committed to Clarinda, and is in a precarious condition at the county farm. Two of their children are at the institution for the feeble minded at Glenwood.
