Mabel L. Sawhill, age 103, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2017 in her Silver Spring, MD home. She is survived by her niece, Doreen J. Moore and her husband and children.

Memorial services will be held at National Presbyterian Church, 4101 Nebraska Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20016 on May 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers Mabel would have wanted everyone to donate to the Mabel Sawhill Scholarship Fund at Gallaudet University.

Transcriber's note: Burial was at Winterset cemetery beside her parents, John and Flora Belle Sawhill.
