Essie Wallace Dies at Age 76

Mrs. Essie M. Wallace, 76, of 1926 Fifty-third st., died at her home Tuesday after a brief illness.

Mrs. Wallace was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines about 60 years. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church.

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Nora Clark of Winterset, Mrs. Harriett Armstrong of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Bessie Thomas of Redwood City, Cal., Mrs. Edna Sally of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Grace Sally of Des Moines and Lee Walters, of Minneapolis, Minn.

Services are pending at Dunn’s Funeral Home.

Essie Wallace Services Set

Services for Mrs. Essie M. Wallace, 76, of 1926 Fifty-third st., will be at 3 p. m. Tuesday at the Dunn Funeral Home, with burial in Glendale Cemetery. She died at her home Tuesday after a brief illness.

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Nora Clark of Winterset, Mrs. Harriett Armstrong of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Bessie Thomas of Redwood City, Cal., Mrs. Edna Sally of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Grace Jennings of Des Moines, and two brothers, Charles William Walters of Des Moines and Lee Walters of Minneapolis, Minn.
