Mrs. Essie M. Wallace, 76, of 1926 Fifty-third st., died at her home Tuesday after a brief illness.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines about 60 years. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Nora Clark of Winterset, Mrs. Harriett Armstrong of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Bessie Thomas of Redwood City, Cal., Mrs. Edna Sally of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Grace Sally of Des Moines and Lee Walters, of Minneapolis, Minn.
Services are pending at Dunn’s Funeral Home.

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Nora Clark of Winterset, Mrs. Harriett Armstrong of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Bessie Thomas of Redwood City, Cal., Mrs. Edna Sally of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Grace Jennings of Des Moines, and two brothers, Charles William Walters of Des Moines and Lee Walters of Minneapolis, Minn.
