U. N. JOHNSON, PIONEER DIES OF HEART TROUBLE

Un. N. Johnson, 61, of 2065 Grand avenue, died suddenly, early this morning of heart trouble.

He had just started to work when he became violently ill. He returned home, but died before a physician could arrive.

He is an old time resident of Des Moines, having lived here for over thirty years.

He is survived by one son, Ernest E. Johnson.

U. N. JOHNSON.

U. N. Johnson, 60 years old, died at his home, 2065 East Grand avenue, on Friday morning. He is survived by one son, Ernest E. Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock from Newlen’s funeral hall. Interment will be at Laurel Hill cemetery.

Transcriber's note: The deceased was a Madison County resident in the 1880 Census and was married there in 1879.
