Frank A. Allen, 612 North Lee street, died at 3:35 p. m. Thursday at his home after a three months illness of heart disease.
The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the John A. Beck memorial home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial park cemetery.
Mr. Allen had been employed by the Illinois Power and Light corporation 16 years. He was born in Winterset, Ia., Oct. 16, 1888. He married Miss Hazel Hozelton of Chenoa in 1912.
Surviving are the widow; three daughters, Helen and Mildred at home and Mrs. Iva Ertl, Harvey a son, Claude at home; one sister and three brothers.
Mr. Allen was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Funeral services for Frank A. Allen, 612 North Lee street, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Beck memorial home. The Rev. H. C. Warber of Friedens Evangelical church officiated. Burial was in the East Lawn Memorial Park cemetery. Mrs. Clara Knecht and Mrs. Clara Edmunds sang, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Isabelle Bird and at the organ by Otto E. Giese. Pallbearers were John Pell, Melvin Helmick, Lloyd Blair, Jack Totterer, Babe Chevers and Gordon Yhule.
