Page 3, Column 4ADEL—A funeral for Marjorie Thiel, 68, of Adel was held July 16, 1988 at the Rapids Street Baptist Church here. Rs. Thiel died of a gastro-intestinal disorder on July 13 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center at Des Moines. Burial was in the McKibbon Cemetery near Earlham.
The daughter of Oliver and Mildred Myers, she was born May 18, 1920 at Kansas City, Kan. She had lived at Adel for nine years, and lived at Earlham prior to that. From 1942 to 1960, she was a partner in Bill Mason Music Co. at Earlham. She was a member of the Rapids Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, William Mason and Fred Thiel, and by a sister, Lucille Levo.
Survivors include a son, David of Union Grove, Wis.; a sister, Idella Paul of Napa, Calif.; and a brother, Roger Myers of Lake Havasue City, Ariz.
