Elmer Ray Berry Services Friday

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Law Mortuary for Elmer Ray Berry of 211 N. Swope, who died here Tuesday. The Rev. K. O. Backstrand will officiate. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Berry was born in Madison County, Iowa, on May 8, 1888. He had been a resident in Colorado Springs since 1949. A member of the Central Christian Church, he was employed at the Union Printers Home.

The survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby E. Berry, Colorado Springs; his daughters, Mrs. Glenn Shrum, Colorado Springs, Mrs. Opal McIntire, Colorado Springs, Mrs. George Baumann, Corning, Iowa, Mrs. Ed Shepherd, Elberton, Ga.; his sons, Harold Berry, West Plains, Mo., Ray Berry, Calhoun, Mo., 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his brother, Henry Berry, Lorimor, Iowa.
