Asa Berry, of Des Moines, a former resident of Monroe township, died February 28 of cancer of the stomach. He was sixty-six years old and was born on the old Berry farm.
He went to Lorimor when the Great Western was built and lived there for nearly twenty years. He has lived in Des Moines the past sixteen years.

Services at Newlen Funeral Home.
Asa Berry, 67, died Thursday morning at his home, 654 Fourteenth Street place. Mr. Berry was an officer of the Prolac Milling company of Des Moines. He had lived in Des Moines for sixteen years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Newlen funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery. Mr. Berry is survived by his wife and seven children.
