The funeral of Mrs. Kate Lamb was held from the Christina church Friday afternoon. She died at a hospital in Omaha from a serious operation. She leaves a son, Claude Lamb, of Creston, Iowa, and her husband, Lon Lamb of Omaha, Nebraska, besides her father, J. W. Fivecoat, five sisters and two brothers, besides a host of other near relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lamb was born and reared to womanhood here in Murray, later moving to Creston, then to Omaha where she died.

Funeral services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. P. G. Dennis. The floral offerings were many and beautiful but she was not here to see them. The body was laid to rest beside that of her mother in the Murray cemetery.
