SERVICES HERE WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Emmaline Maris Carlson, widow of Carl Frederick Alexis Carlson, who died March 25, succumbed Monday to pneumonia, following an attack of influenza from which she apparently had recovered, the same malady which claimed Mr. Carlson. The same pallbearers place her body beside that of Mr. Carlson in Evergreen cemetery, following funeral services conducted at 3 p.m. at the Sellergren funeral home by Rev. Orval Walker, pastor of the Christian church, of which she was a member. The pallbearers were Conrad Goranson, Chas. Kikendahl, Gary Miller, Joe Schmidt, Clarence Turner and Ross DeKay.

Emmaline Maris Bonney was born Oct. 12, 1870 in Madison county, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mose Bonney. She was married Dec. 26, 1888, in Clark county, Ia., to Carl Frederick Alexis Carlson, and they moved to Montgomery county in 1892, making their home on a farm southeast of Red Oak.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. O. R. Nash and Marion Carlson, of Red Oak, and Marlin Carlson, of Essex; also two sisters and two brothers, as follows: Mrs. Samantha Remerschied and Mrs. Belle Miller, both of Osceola; Ward Bonney, of Ottumwa, and L. Bonney of Kalispell, Mont.
