Will Wesley Beem died at his home in the northwest part of the city last Thursday evening, January 22, 1920, at the age of 55 years 1 month and 18 days. Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon, January 25, at 2:00 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. R. Anderson, and interment was in the Ellsworth cemetery.

Mr. Beem is survived by a wife and three daughters, Dorothy, Eleanor and Naomi; six brothers, John, Samuel, Lee, Cass, Rass and George, and two sisters, Mrs Lizzie Williams and Miss Arnetta Beem.

Transcriber's note: Per census records, the deceased's family lived in Madison County, Iowa from about 1855 until about 1878. Documentation of his 1864 birth has not been found.
