Mrs. Clara J. Meads, 76 year old, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Mulica, 205 Peterson avenue, and funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Friday morning at the Roland funeral home, with Rev. C. W. Graham of the Methodist church officiating. The body will be taken to Glenwood for burial.
Mrs. Meads had been ill about two weeks.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Mulica and Mrs. Ola Livengood, both of Creston, and Roy Meads of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. I. Welker, Des Moines and Mrs. R. Welker, Council Bluffs and two brothers, L. A. Mathew, Norwalk, and E. S. Matthew, Des Moines.
________________________Transcriber's note: The deceased was an early resident of Madison County, appearing in the 1856 and 1860 censuses from which her full name was taken.
