DIES IN FIT OF COUGHING

Mrs. John D. Steck Dies Suddenly at Her Home 813 Mulberry—Had Been in Usual Health.

In a fit of coughing last evening Mrs. John D. Steck, 813 Mulberry street, strangled to death before assistance could be rendered. Mrs. Steck had not been sick and during the evening had performed her regular household duties in the usual manner. At 9:30 she was seized by the coughing spell and at 10:30 was dead. The remains were taken to Shank’s undertaking rooms.
