Ellen, wife of Marlon Collier died, at her home in Fremont township, Wednesday, September 6th, aged about forty-three years. Her death was very unexpected, and proved a great shock to her husband and five children who survive her. One, a babe of a few hours only, was buried with her. A very large company of friends who had esteemed her greatly, gathered to hear the funeral services at the house, which were conducted by the Rev. Mullen. Afterward her remains were taken to Truro for burial.
